The LAUM celebrates its 40+1 years!

The Acoustics Laboratory of the University of Le Mans (LAUM - UMR 6613) celebrates its 40+1 years on Saturday, September 17, 2022. As a former member of the laboratory, or a former student in acoustics at Le Mans, you are of course invited and we count on your presence!

A festive program!

For those who wish, the event will start on Friday evening, September 16, with a conference in the framework of a "Pint of Acoustics" in a bar in downtown Le Mans (from 7:30 pm).

On Saturday morning, September 17 (9:00 am - 12:30 pm), a series of conferences and round tables will be organized on campus and dedicated to the history of the LAUM over the last 40 years.

A lunch will be organized on campus on Saturday.

The afternoon will be devoted to visits (classical and offbeat) of the experimental surfaces of the laboratory and of the premises dedicated to the teaching of acoustics at the University. You will also be able to discover a photo exhibition tracing the history of the laboratory. Other activities are being prepared for the afternoon...

To close this anniversary, an apéro-buffet will be organized from 7pm.

This event is entirely free. You can of course come accompanied, but we will ask your companion a 10€ participation for the lunch and the evening aperitif.
