From March 8 to 10, the Acoustics Laboratory of the University of Le Mans (LAUM) hosts the Technical Days of EXperimentation in ACoustics of the French Acoustics Society (SFA) around the theme of "source characterization".

Academic or industrial, this event is aimed at all profiles of experimenters (doctoral students, technicians, engineers, researchers ...) in acoustics and vibration.

The program of these days :

• Lectures: As an introduction to the experimental workshops, the lecturers will share the knowledge necessary for a good physical understanding of the experiments implemented during the workshops.
  
  
• Experimental workshops: In collaboration with equipment suppliers, the LAUM experimenters propose a catalog of 5 to 8 two-hour workshops putting into practice the technical know-how of the laboratory around the theme of source characterization.
  
  
• Visits of the laboratory: Guided tours and experimental demonstrations of the laboratory facilities.
  
  
• Round tables: A moment of exchange and feedback on experimental practices.

• Collaborative workshop: A time of collective reflection on the drafting of a guide to good experimental practices in acoustics and vibration.
