 EXACT#5 - Technical Days of Experimentation in ACoustics

Experimentation, which is central to the scientific process, requires technical know-how and a good knowledge of the equipment,  whether specific to the field or general. With this in mind, the SFA's specialized group EXACT organizes annual meetings and exchanges dedicated to acousticians and experimenters. These events allow technicians, researchers and suppliers to get together to discuss methods and experimental solutions.

The next edition will take place at the Laboratoire d'Acoustique de l'Université du Mans. Among the different know-how of the laboratory, eight topics around "source characterization" will be discussed. These topics will be developed during practical sessions and general presentations.

In order to include as much as possible the partners of this meeting, each practical session will be built in collaboration with a supplier, implementing their material and their expertise in real conditions.

Finally, in addition to the late-night, informal and often creative discussions that can take place during the evenings, creative workshops will be organized.

These supervised discussions will be used to design future actions to improve the sharing and thus the quality of our experiences!
