Discover the cultivation of Provence cane (Arundo Donax L.) in the Var region, its harvesting and drying, as well as the process of transforming it into reeds for wind instruments.

  Among all these reeds, some escape their musical destiny. They are observed, measured, and analyzed by Amélie Gaillard, clarinetist and doctoral student at LAUM, as part of her thesis on the physical and perceptual characterization of clarinet reeds.
