During the last years his activities at LAUM have been devoted to the control of acoustic waves by structured materials. Among them, acoustic metamaterials have been exploited to design deep subwavelength structures for controlling diffusion and absorption of waves.
In this presentation, he reviews some of the recent works that have never been presented at LAUM. In particular he will pay attention to metadiffusers as well as the perfect absorbers for both underwater acoustics and airborne acoustics in ventilated problems.
