Activities at LAUM

Gilles Tissot is an Inria research fellow in the Odyssey team at the Rennes center and associated with the LAUM. His background is in fluid mechanics, model reduction and aeroacoustics. He is currently working on the following topics

• Stochastic modeling of wave-turbulence interaction.
• Data assimilation methods for ocean flows, in particular via reproducing kernel spaces (RKHS) and the Koopman operator.
• Loss of coherence of internal tidal waves in the ocean due to interactions between waves and currents.
