Projet SALUTE - programme CleanSky 2

The LAUM will be part of a new project to develop and test novel acoustic treatments for aircraft engines. Funded by the European initiative CleanSky2, the SALUTE project involves a group of research labs from the École Centrale de Lyon, the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, the Université Bourgogne - Franche Comté and Le Mans Université.

This project will investigate small transducers capable of absorbing sound very efficiently. Researchers at the LAUM have been developing this technology for more than a decade (including a patented transducer). The SALUTE project will provide the opportunity to apply this technology to a new application.
